She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Blotz and Genevieve Blotz; her husband Leo McAlpine; her siblings, James Blotz, Sharon Rock, Patricia Blotz and Colleen Watters; and her sister-in-law Charlene Blotz.
She is survived by: her brothers, Michael Blotz, Jack Blotz and Tim Blotz (Laura Jean); her siblings-in-law, Mary Blotz and Richard Rock; her children, Julia Fern (Rick), Stephen and Megan Gerard (Joseph); her grandsons, Gabriel and Benjamin Fern; her children, Alexandra, Samuel, Augustin, Machai, Sophia and Azalia Gerard; and her friends, Marilyn Wegge and Marion Felhofer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:30 AM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Church of Saint Michael (611 3rd St S, Stillwater, MN 55082).
