Though Marlene may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Westlund and Adrie Westlund; her siblings, Evelyn "Evie" Peterson and Carl Westlund; and her son-in-law Rhone Hamilton.
She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Lee; her grandchildren, Grace Lee Roeske, Veda Lee Roeske and Roman Lee Hamilton; and her sister Marlys Grivna (Dennis) of Rice Lake, Wisconsin. She is also survived by family gatherings; and her dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marlene's memory to Oak Ridge Place Apartments (6060 Oxboro Avenue North, Stillwater, MN 55082) to support resident activities and social events, or to the Lakeview Health Foundation, in care of Lakeview Hospice, Homecare and Palliative Care Fund (927 Churchill Street West, Stillwater, MN 55082), so that they may continue providing the exceptional care to others that they so lovingly gave to Marlene.
