It is with sadness that the passing of Mary Stifter of Stillwater, Minnesota is shared. Mary, born on April 11, 1935, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Stone and Esther Stone (Heagle); and her siblings, Terry Stone, Thomas Stone and Kathy Jutz.

She is survived by: her husband Eugene; her children, Theresa Stewart, Frank Stifter (Barbara Hansen), Barbara Hall, Tony Stifter, John Stifter and Kevin Stifter (Keri); and her siblings, Jack Stone, Judith Stone and Margaret Bardot. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (423 5th St S, Stillwater, MN 55082). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Saint Michael's Cemetery (865 6th Ave N, Bayport, MN 55003).
