He was predeceased by: his son Peter John Jr.; his parents, Hattie Miller and Peter T. Miller; and his siblings, Tom, Joe, Bill Miller, Pat Beaudet, Carolyn Willett and Marge Sonju.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his daughters, Jean Miller (Bill Turpin), Jude Miller (Ronn Hart), Pat St. Claire and Jacqueline Miller (Greg Knutson); his sister Mary Ann Buege; and his grandchildren, Steve, Brian, Scott St. Claire, Brendan, Shannon, Ian Burke, Sam and Maddie Baitz.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bradshaw (2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, MN 55082). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Charles - Bayport (409 3rd St N, Bayport, MN 55003). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Catholic Church (409 3rd St N, Bayport, MN 55003).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the local Shriners Children's and Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul, MN.
