He was predeceased by : his parents, Ethel Monahan and Raymond Monahan; his wife Donna; and his siblings, James, Charles, Mary Ann and Helene.

He is survived by : his friend William McCloskey; his children, Deborah, Michael (Kristy) and Jennifer; and also, Rebecca, Milan, Nancy, Rose Ann, Matt, Lucas and Charles.

Contributions to the student aid fund will go towards scholarships so that another student might have the same opportunity to be the first in their family to graduate from college.
