She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Cha Chia Thao; her children, Nhia, Yong, Tong, Xang (Sheng), Xue, Yeng (Chong), Toua, Maree and GaoNa (Louis); and her grandchildren, Claire, Belle, Jacob, Zachary, Kelso, Nathen, Eliza, Calvin, Olivier, Felix, Elizabeth, Savannah, Elliot and Evelynn.
