He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Bondhus and Yvonne Bondhus (Schollian); his brother Jeff Shaner; and his grandparents, Eldora Valen Bondhus, Herman Bondhus, Minnie Rowley Torkelson, Elvin Torkelson and Harold Schollian.
He is survived by: his children, Garrett Bondhus (Jill) and Kari Pankonin (Kyle); his grandchildren, Andrew Travaglio (Brittany), Brennan Bondhus, Logan Pankonin (Cora) and Noah Pankonin (Libby); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Grant Pankonin, Braxton and Huxson Travaglio; his siblings, Linda Becker (Chuck) of Lincoln, NE, Dawn Bondhus-Mueller (Quint) and Barry Bondhus (Jan); his niece Mary Chandler of Lincoln, NE; and his stepmother Carolyn Bondhus.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Amo Lutheran Church (35368 Co Rd 5, Storden, MN 56174). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
