She was predeceased by: her parents, Frence Helmer and Agnes Florence Johnson (Hanson); her former husband John Bodell; and her siblings, Leroy Johnson, Lynette Nelson and Frence Johnson Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Fred Eugene Schindler; her children, John Shane Bodell, Michele McCraw (Mark) and Mathew Schindler; her grandchildren, Abby Chisholm (Sam) and Nikia Bodell; her great grandchildren, Ivy, Mara Chisholm and Lincoln Love; her siblings, Lester Johnson, Luann McGlynn (Kendal) and Larry Johnson (Judy); and her brother-in-law Clifford Nelson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
