He was predeceased by: his father Richard Granquist (Barbara Lou Granquist) of Colorado; and his grandparents, James and Irene Murphy of Kerrick, Minn.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Granquist (Peggy); his daughters, Meghan, Kelli and Shannon Granquist of Hermantown, Minn.; his brothers, Dale Granquist of Franklin and Tenn; his siblings' children, Britni Granquist of Franklin, Evan Baun (Nikita) of Prague, Arin Baun of Fort Collins, Lindsay Baun (Tony Schulte) of Nederland, Kelsey Baun (Kevin Warner) of Fort Collins, Darren Baun (Aundrea Westfall) of Dallas, Ruth Gladitsch (Daniel), Teresa Richards (Zachary), Katherine Kostohris (Logan Dedden), John Kostohris of Nashville, Tenn, Matthew Baun of Washington, D. C. and Andrew Kostohris of West St; and his brothers, Michael Baun (Valdosta) and Lawrence Baun (Robert Baun) of Norfolk.
A Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (203 Lawler Ave S, Hinckley, MN 55037). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Bruno Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his honor be made to Carlton County Animal Rescue in Cloquet, Minn, or Animal Allies Humane Society in Duluth, Minn.
