She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Hoffman (Neeseman); her husband Sanford Skarsten of John's Lutheran Church; her father Harry Hoffman; her siblings, Wesley Hoffman (Gayle) and Harriet Amundson (Jerry); and her sister-in-law Karen Hoffman.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Detloff (Terry) of Farwell and Phillip Skarsten (Karen Geyer) of Benson; and her siblings, Luverne Hoffman (Mary), Gerald Hoffman (Char) and Joyce Standfuss (Rolf). She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 201 Falcon Ave, Benson, MN 56215. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
