She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Skoglie Gilbertson and Edward Gilbertson; her sister Ruth Rieger (Rodger); her siblings-in-law, Karen Gilbertson, Chuck Clayton and Curt Bakken; her nephews, Samuel Bakken and Greg Brandhagen; and her niece Lisa Kaberle.
She is survived by: her husband Herb; her children, Susan and Mark; her grandchildren, Rascal, Lola and Cleo; her siblings, Carl Gilbertson and Janice Kaberle (Larry); and her siblings-in-law, Miriam Clayton, Ruth Bakken and Phil Peterson (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church of Bemidji (2508 Washington Ave SE, Bemidji, MN 56601). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
