He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Mahla; his siblings, Donovan Narverud, Camille DuChamp and Carole; his siblings-in-law, Judy Johansen (Joe), Bernice Larson (Jerome) and Goodwin Kvasager; his granddaughter Samantha Brewer; and his great grandchild Caleb Vincent.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Narverud (Shelley Schoenherr) of Ira, MI, Cheryl Lee (Larry), Holly Haugen (Mark) and Jay Narverud (Jane) of Burnsville, MN.; his grandchildren, Shannon Jackson (George Brown), Sabrina Briolat (Steve), Derek Lee (Stacy), Jared Lee (Megan), Trevor Lee (Sarah), Michelle Janisch (Aaron), Kim Tompkins (Aaron), Paul Narverud (Becca), Mandy Groen (Jeff) and Shari Narverud; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Narverud and Lucille Kvasager. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Shriner's Hospital, Thief River Falls Education Foundation, and HIA Hospice (formerly Hospice of the Red River Valley).
