He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Brantl and Fern Brantl (Christian); and his daughter-in-law Alessandra Brantl. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann; his children, Robin Torkelson (Gary) of Manhattan, IL, Craig Brantl of Lucas, TX, Jill Cornelius (Joe) and Farrah McPhee (Justin) of Forest Lake, MN; his grandchildren, Madeline Holmstrom (Evan), Caroline Stanek (Brandon), Garrett Torkelson, Caden, Carson Brantl, JJ, Jett Cornelius, Emily and Connor McPhee; his great grandchildren, Owen Holmstrom and Colton Stanek; his brother Ryam Brantl (Cindy) of Grand Forks, ND; and his nieces and nephews, Rylan, Casey and Calyn.
