It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Okland of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Okland and Muriel Okland (Cotton); and his siblings-in-law, Jim, Shirley Kubicek and Jamie Kubicek.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Kubicek; his children, Christopher (Sharie) of Turtle River, MN, Erik of Pittsburgh, PA, Ellen Okland and Thief; and his siblings, Howard (Linda) of Anchorage, AK and Judy Benson of Winona, MN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
