Marilyn Wigness Obituary

We announce the death of Marilyn Wigness (Thief River Falls, Minnesota), who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 90. Marilyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Wralstad (Evans) and Carl Manvil Wralstad; her sister-in-law Mickie Wralstad; her brother Phil Wralstad; and her husband Jerry.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Williams (Doug) of Bemidji, Mike Wigness (Laura) of Boise, ID and Steve Wigness (Cathy) of Chanhassen, MN.; and her grandchildren, Baret Williams-Furfaro (Dane Furfaro), Kari Williams (Mark Bailey), Marin Oldenburg (Dustin), Maggie Wigness (Whitney Osborn), Paden Wigness (Emma Kazian), Bailey Wigness, Drew Wigness (Sarah), Sam Wigness (Amy), Dylan Wigness (Kelsi Skime) and Nicole Sheldon (Chris).

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Johnson Funeral Service (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
