We announce the death of Mark Hanson of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Hanson and Alice Hanson; and his in-laws, Arthur, Gladys Johnson, Carol, Glen Poppenhagen, Vern Matson, Barbara Johnson, LaDawn Hanson, Harriet Johnson and Sharon Hvidsten.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Mae Hanson; his children, Ehren, Ester Hanson (Kade (Lydia)), Seth, Angie Hanson (Sarah (Dominick) Jacobson), Ingrid, Brent Barnstuble, Kjell, Kristy Hanson, Emily, Aveah, Levi, Justin and Nathan Pengilly; his siblings, Gary (Sherril Hanson) and Grace (Kevin Meyer); and his siblings-in-law, Loren Johnson (Cecile), Richard Johnson (Sharon), Howard Hvidsten and Joyce Jorgenson (Wendell). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
