With sadness, we share the passing of Marlys Anderson of Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Marlys, born on February 28, 1947, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Eileen Lofberg (Nelson); her husband Francis Anderson; her father Arthur Lofberg; and her siblings, Pat Stokke (Ed), Duane Lofberg, Neil Lofberg (Karon), Gary Lofberg and Rodney Lofberg (Elaine).
She is survived by: her sons, Nathan Anderson (Renay), Jeremy Anderson (Janna) and Seth Anderson (Lisa); her grandchildren, Tyler, Brady, Olivia, Katie Mae, Evan, Carter, Oswin and Oliver; her brothers, Michael Lofberg (Michele) and Brian Lofberg (Corrine "Cookie"); and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Lofberg. She is also survived by many godchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
