It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavis A. Besserud of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, born in Greenbush, Minnesota, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hiram Erickson and Alyda Erickson (Helgeson); her husband John Besserud; and her children, Rhonda and Stuart.
She is survived by : her children, Deb Bernhardson (Mark) of Cloquet, MN, Steven Besserud, Scott Besserud (Rhonda) and Darsey Lewis (Todd) of Winger, MN; and her sister Kathy Oberg of Red Wing, MN. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
