He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Edward and Janice Ardith Wright (Nething); his siblings, Rick Wright, Raymond Wright and Judy; his brother-in-law Gary Sweno; and his close friends, Keith Schmalz and Buck.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Franson (Jeff), Heidi Paulson (Chad) of Goodridge and Hunter Wright (Kaitlyn) of Newfolden, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Chloe, Aliya Franson, Blake Passa, Luke, Jake and Abby Paulson; and his siblings, Vivian Wright of Wadena, Janey Schenhiet (Richard) of Dassel and Robin Wright (Mary) of Dassel, Minnesota. He is also survived by dog, Bear; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Ursday Johnson Funeral Service (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701).
