It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond M. Nelson of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Nelson and Ella Nelson; his siblings, Dennis, Roger, Marvin and Violet Jenkins; his parents-in-law, Russell and Signe Nelson; and his brother-in-law Bob Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Nelson; his daughters, Mary Jo Langlie (Jeff), Wendy Nelson and Nancy Stadler (Steve); his grandchildren, Brandon Langlie, Cainan Langlie (Shayla), Lindsay Thompson (Jeremy) and Nick Stadler (Jolene); his great grandchildren, Jaedyn, Saige, Kaleb, Abel, Maverick, Selah and Olivia; and his siblings, Gordon Nelson, Dolores Knauf and Joanne Grindeland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
