He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Waldmar and Justine Mattson (Anderson); his wife Julie Mattson; and his siblings, Clarence Mattson, Evelyn Mattson, Imogene Nuoci (John), Helen Schofield and Beatta Knatvold (Harvey).
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Mattson (Sue) and Bruce Mattson (Jane); his grandchildren, Lisa Robson, Lori Holm (Chris) of Owatonna, MN and Cory Mattson (Rita) of Chippewa Falls, WI; his great grandchildren, Emily Tangen, Ben Robson, Anna Robson, Ashley Holm, Sam Holm and Elliot Mattson; and his great great grandchild Braxton Robson.
