He is survived by: his siblings, Lynette Geving (Glen), Holly Manderud (Robert), John Holthusen and Kelly Holthusen (Paulette); and his nieces and nephews, Dawn Gagnon, Tamera Ellingson (Jared), Christy Quinn (Tim), Keri Sorter (Kevin), Heather Oistad, Jodi Burley (Rob), Cindy Belmont (Todd), Nicole Ellefson (Josh Olson), Greg Geving (Joyce), Dale Manderud (Stephany), Daylin Holthusen and Carla Manderud.
His work ethic was further honed through his contributions to Holthusen Construction and in logging.
