She was predeceased by: her parents, Jens Almquist and Signe Almquist (Brink); her daughters, Jean and Jane; and her siblings, Laura Durman (Frank), Edna Carlson (Clarence), Vera Fehr (Jake), Alton Almquist (Constance), Woodrow Almquist (Verda) and Olive Durman (Ray).
She is survived by: her husband Norman Busse; her daughter Sheila Ranum (Brian); her grandchildren, Baily Jo Kempf (Clint) and Jorde Ranum (Danielle) of Arvada, CO; and her brother Basil Almquist (Senora) of Cummings, ND. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
