In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Shirley leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Shirley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Stenson and Olive Stenson (Nygaard); her husband Roger Richter; her son Robert; and her sister Ruth Ronningen.
She is survived by: her sons, David A. Richter (Jude) and Daniel J. Richter (Sally); her grandchildren, Alexis F. Gade and Christina I. Richter; and her caregiver Brian Bothum. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701).
