He was predeceased by: his parents, Orton Tofte and Margaret Tofte (Anderson); his siblings-in-law, Sally Tofte and David Wilks; and his brothers, Michael and Kirk.
He is survived by: his wife Meg Tofte; his children, Hans Tofte (Karissa) and Bjorn Tofte (Andrea Molina); his grandchildren, Magnus, Vincent and Raphael; and his siblings, Orton Jr. (Karen), Terry (Rebecca), Margaret (Bill Altemus), Ellie (Jeff Holte), Brian (Kelly) and Scott (Brenda). He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews.
