He is survived by: his wife Robin Surla; his children, Sean Stepan (Erin) of Hermantown and Rachael Tuominen (Tyler) of Rockford; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Samuel, Anabelle and Spencer; and his sister Jeanne Driscoll (Terry).
