Beverly left this world on May 22, 2026 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Samshal and Blenda Samshal (Olman); her husband David Hovde; her siblings, Janice Peterick, Marlene Hall, Milan Samshal and Ervin Samshal; her siblings-in-law, LaVern Samshal, DeeAnn Samshal, John Peterick and Wayne Hall; and her parents-in-law, Ingvald Hovde and Clarice Hovde.
She is survived by: her sister Helen Pinske (Roy); her children, Rhonda Degelau (John), Stewart Hovde (Kristi) and Steven Hovde; her grandchildren, Hailee Softing (Erik), Zachary Hovde and John Degelau; and her great grandchild Demi Softing. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
