He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Brandt and Eleanor Brandt (Mattson); his son John Brandt; and his brother James Brandt. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Stephenson; his children, Connie Bautch and Stephen Brandt (Joni); his daughter-in-law Sarah Cox (Bryan); his grandchildren, Drew, Erinn Bautch, Courtney Santikko (Mack), Cody Brandt (Riley Larson), Kaitlyn and Austin Cox; his great grandchildren, Arielle, Audrey and Myles; and his siblings, Robert (Linda), Donald Brandt (Janet) and Beverly Truscott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to the Voyaguer Snowmobile Club John Brandt Memorial Scholarship or the Two Harbors Public Library.
