He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie and Elsie (Johnson); and his brothers, Jon and Charlie. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his sons, Bryan Nelson (Courtney), Derek Nelson (Cara) and Aaron Nelson; his stepdaughter Kristie Finn (Trent); his grandchildren, Mikayah Brand (Dylon), Thomas, Paisley, Lucy, Elsie, Earl Nelson, Alexa and Kaitlyn Finn; and his pet Callie.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Lake County Humane Society.
