He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Olson and Stella Olson (Johnson); and his siblings, Harvey and Myrtle. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Tim (Tammy), Charlie, Curtis (Eliane), Kirk (Shelley) and Lance (Melanie); and his grandchildren, Toni, Tara, Ryan, Megan, Samantha, Harlie, Frankianne, Eugene and Heather. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to the Lake County Humane Society.
