With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lon N Jones of Two Harbors, Minnesota, who passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Jones and Peggy "Bugg" Jones; his sister Billie Jean Demeter; and his brothers-in-law, Marvin Demeter, James Strom and Ronald Strom.
He is survived by: his wife Suzie Jones (Strom); his children, Vicki Johnson (Gunner), Cindi Ogren (Terry Costello), Lonyll Johnson (Brian) and Tricia Kempfert (Dick); his grandchildren, Cassi Lee (Mike), Alicia Norman (Justin), Gunnar Kempfert (Shawna), Olivia Lewandowski (Clay) and Erika Johnson; his great grandchildren, Kade Norman, Karli Norman and Harlon Lewandowski; his sisters-in-law, Katherine Strom and Mary Ann Strom; his nephews, Johnny Demeter (Tricia), Gary Demeter (Kelly) and Adam Strom; his niece Andrea Oeffling (Scott); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Christopher Demeter, Alan Demeter, Ryan Demeter, Michelle Jones and Callahan Creech.
