He is survived by : his wife Faye; his son Howard Knaffla; and his siblings, Orville Knaffla, Ruby Friend, Carol Morin and Marie Zaren. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

“I'm very sorry for your loss Faye and family. I remember you all very well from Finland and rode the bus with your kids. Mickey was one of my best friends in school - I remember we always sat together at lunch and he was always nice to me. I was sorry to hear of his passing as well.
