He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Ness and Louise Ness; and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his fiancé Jody (Kunkel); his siblings, Steven of Duluth, Mark (Margy) of Silver Bay, Cheryl Esterbrooks (Jim) of Knife River and Tracy Halvorson (Jerry) of Silver Bay; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Ness (Deeanna), Clinton Ness (Lucy), Brita Ness, Lindsay Pearson (Tracy), Mitchell Ness (Mari), Jenny Bjerken (Nick), Dustin Goutermont (Tina), Desiree Halvorson and Tanner Halvorson (Jess Newman); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sidney, Cooper, Pricilla, Owen, Damian, Callie, Rory, Riley, Reylin, Lillian, Tucker, Levi, Willa, Gordon and Brooklyn.
