He was predeceased by: his sister Sue; and his pets, Magnum, Angel and Sawyer. He is survived by: his girlfriend Bonnie Carlson; his parents, Connie Umgelter and Jim Umgelter (Marion); his siblings, Bob Umgelter (Karen) and Kris Wilkens (Robert); his brother-in-law Bob Thomas; and his close friend Tom Frantti. He is also survived by aunts, uncle and cousins.
