He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Mortland and Louise Mortland (Nihart); his wife Darlene Van Overbeke; his sister Joyce Wonsewicz (Jerry); his nephew Travis Yotter; his brothers-in-law, Dean Van Overbeke and Dean Gacke; and his parents-in-law, Edwin and Bernice Van Overbeke.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Mortland of Arco and Randy Mortland (Margo) of Elkton; his granddaughter Emma; and his siblings, Gail Mortland (Murray) of Minneapolis, Jean Popowski (Leanard) of Ivanhoe, Gerald Mortland (Darlene) of Cambridge and Nick Mortland (Nancy) of Arco.
