With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Nordmeyer (Tyler, Minnesota), born in Lake Benton, Minnesota, who passed away on April 30, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Nordmeyer and Mavis Nordmeyer (Enke); and his son Chad Nordmeyer. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Meyer; his children, Todd Nordmeyer (Pamela) of Prescott, Trudy Legatt (David) of Foley and Tracy Oey (Alexander) of Marshall, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Kaila Kamrass (Zack), Sarah Seifert (Jake), Luke Nordmeyer, Haley Nordmeyer (Brandon), Briton Nordmeyer, Abigail Zimmer (Zack), Isabelle Legatt, Xander Oey and Braylon Oey; his great grandchildren, Berkley, Palmer, Owen and Baker; and his brother Paul Nordmeyer (Stephanie Meyer) of Lake Benton.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Genevieve Catholic Church - Lake Benton (119 Sherman St W, Lake Benton, MN 56149). A prayer was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at the St. Genevieve Catholic Cemetery (119 Sherman St W, Lake Benton, MN 56149).
