It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Bueng of Ulen, Minnesota, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Bakken and Sophie Bakken (Hollevoet); her husband Bud; her siblings, Joseph Bakken (Irene), Hazel Anderson (Leonard) and Solveig Berg (Gerhard); her in-laws, George and Anna Bueng; and her siblings-in-law, George Bueng Jr., Parnell Bueng, Garfield Bueng (Lily), Clarice Lene (Lawrence), Marlys Voss (Robert), Curtis Bueng, Geraldine Bueng and Sylvia Bueng.
She is survived by: her children, Junell (Jon Looker), Cheryl (Rex Hammarback) and Duan (Donna Roost); her grandchildren, Rick Looker (Amy), Joby Looker (Tammy), Christian Bueng and Cameron Bueng (Ashlyn Mattern); her daughters, Josie and Jenna Looker; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Bueng (Fran), Harlan Bueng, Bruce Bueng, Barbara Bueng and Dolly Meyer (Terry). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
