We announce the death of Katherine Kensinger of Underwood, Minnesota, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 70. Katherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kensinger and Margaret Kensinger (Ryan). She is survived by: her husband Norman; her stepchildren, Matthew Kolstad (Deb) and Nate Kolman (Kristen); her children, Todd Wachendorf (Jessica Dickau), Ross Wachendorf (Jessica), Bryan Wachendorf (Rachel) and Elyse Wachendorf; her grandchildren, Zoey, Wyatt, Myra, Mackenzie, Atara and Wylder; and her brothers, Lee (Ellen), Robert (Joanne), Thomas and Mark Kensinger (Kathryn).
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glendalough State Park (23950 Whitetail Ln, Battle Lake, MN 56515).
