With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tyler Petersen of Underwood, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Tyler left this world on May 29, 2025 at the age of 37, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Maggie Petersen; his uncles, Fred, Dave Petersen and Frank Servantez; and his aunt Kelly Petersen.
He is survived by: his mother Cheryl Petersen; his wife Sophie; his sons, Axel and Diesel; his father Jose Briceno; his brother Troy Petersen (Becky); his niece Ava; his nephew Miles; his siblings, Morgan Olson (Dalton), Mariah Preston (Shawn) and Adam Lerbakken; his parents-in-law, Brad and Paula Russell; his sister-in-law Hattie Haarstad (Hunter); and his close friend Jamie Norman. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (102 W Junius Ave, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions for Sophie and the boys may be directed to Farmers State Bank locations in Underwood, Fergus Falls, Dalton and Rothsay.
