She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Benson and Irene Benson (Porter); her husband Harvey Sonnenberg; her son-in-law Perry Grundyson; her parents-in-law, Ted and Alvina Sonnenberg; her siblings, Chester Benson, Jay Benson, Sara O'Grady, Susan Turnbull and Joann Cichy; her nephews, Terry O'Grady, Jr. and Jerry Poss; and her niece LaVonne Richards (Poss).
She is survived by: her children, Renee of Vergas, Bucky (Julie) of Frazee and Brandon (Kayla) of Frazee; her grandchildren, Braylen and Caleb; and her sister Betty Benson of Dilworth. She is also survived by several brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews.
