We announce the death of Nancy Haglund of Vergas, Minnesota, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 79. Nancy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tyler Peterson and Lorraine Peterson (Markle); her stepfather Alvern Kilde; and her brother James Peterson. She is survived by: her husband Loren Haglund; her children, Michelle Vana (Frank) of Vergas, Cheryl Prince of Perham and Brian Haglund of Vergas; her brothers, Steve Peterson of Bemidji and Dave Peterson of Barnesville; her grandchildren, Courtney, Austin, James, Billy (Allison), Nickolas, Tomas and Anthony; and her great grandchildren, Jocelynn, Hope, Lana, Oaklynn, Brianna, Emersyn and Blakely.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Larson Funeral and Cremation Service (12 5th Ave NE, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
