Peggy Thorn Obituary
In loving memory of Peggy Thorn of Verndale, Minnesota, who departed this world on July 6, 2025 at the age of 70. Peggy leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Larson. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Larson; her husband Gary Lee Thorn; her son Mitch Thorn; her stepchildren, Gary Thorn (Lyle), Mark Thorn (Gloria), Mike Thorn (Erika) and Taunee Thorn (Ruth); and her sisters, Laurel Jenson (Tom) and Amy Widmark (Glenn). She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Verndale Alliance Church (109 NW Brown St, Verndale, MN 56481). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Peggy's honor.
