The memory of Butch Charles Shimota of Veseli, Minnesota, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 51, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Butch Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Butch Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Arnold A. Shimota and Victoria Shimota; and his siblings, Tresa Mazurek, Bernadette Gramley (Todd), Dan Shimota (Trista) and David Shimota. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew and by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Church (4949 Washington St, Lonsdale, MN 55046). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (4949 Washington St, Lonsdale, MN 55046).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Lonsdale American Legion.
