She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill McMahon and Lorraine McMahon; her siblings, Judy Marie McMahon and Robert McMahon; and her sister-in-law Deb McMahon.

She is survived by: her husband Brad; her children, Jessica and Jason; and her siblings, Rita Gomez (Robert), Don McMahon, Len McMahon (Jackie), Dan McMahon, Marilyn Satrang (Ron), Brenda Larson (Dave) and Shari Remer (Craig). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM and on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Church of St. Hubert (8201 Main St, Chanhassen, MN 55317).

“Joan, with her sparkling blue eyes, is singing with the choir in heaven. Teaching angels how to use a beer bottle for a microphone, a coffee table as a stage and the lyrics to REO Speedwagon songs. Her faith and love of family was very strong. 2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident and well pleased to be absent from the body to be present with the Lord.” Gone too soon is an understatement. Prayers to family and friends; especially Brad, Jessica and Jason.”
