He was predeceased by : his parents, Maurice Walsh and Katherine Walsh (Lynch); his siblings, Rose Morrisette (Joe), Dick Walsh (Bunny), Jack Walsh (Maryann) and Bob Walsh (Janette); his parents-in-law, Leonard and Evelyn Schrempp; and his brother-in-law James Schrempp.

He is survived by : his sister-in-law Joan Kranz; his wife LaVonne Walsh (Schrempp); his children, Timothy Walsh (Sherri) of Carver, Tisha Kaufhold (Matt) of Carver and Troy Walsh (Stephanie) of Carver; his grandchildren, Katelynn Peglow (Zachary), Kristine Walsh (Jonathan Schmidt), Blake Kaufhold, Hannah Kaufhold and Alexandra Walsh; his sister Eileen "Sis" Effertz (Stan) of Belle Plaine; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Pass of Shakopee, Patricia Bergs (Bob) of Florida, Tony Schrempp (Susie) of Victoria, Steve Schrempp of Arizona, Irene Schmieg (David) of Shakopee, Bernard Schrempp (Barb) of Chaska, Peter Schrempp (Trisha) of Plymouth and Tessie Lee (Wade) of Carver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (141 E 1st St, Waconia, MN 55387). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lions Park Pavilion (1505 82nd St, Victoria, MN 55386).
