Kermit Arthur Rodke Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kermit Arthur Rodke in Viking, Minnesota, who passed away on September 15, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Rodke and Freda Rodke (Olsen); his wife Ardell Bjorndahl; his sister Adele Clemens; and his grandsons, Travis and Tyler Freed.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Rodke (Mickie), Debbie Freed (Randy) and Sheri Weninger (Brian); his grandchildren, Tara Anderson (Aaron), Tracy Giere (Justin), Erica Sponsler, Kevin Sponsler (Carly), Whitney Fuchs (Garrett), Larry Larson (Kelly) and Thomas Larson (Jen); his great grandchildren, Carter, Easton Anderson, Carson, Sadie Giere, Katie, Ella Larson and Aiyana Anderson; his close friend Sharon Haugen; his brother-in-law Mike Clemens; and his cousin Elroy Rodke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be given to charities close to Kermit's heart, including Hegland Church, Hegland Cemetery, and HIA Hospice.
