The passing of Carol Dawn Swanson (Virginia, Minnesota) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Jeffery and Virginia Jeffery (Biss); her husband Arlen G. Swanson; her daughter Leigh Ann Surla; and her brother Bert Jeffery.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Martinetto (Jim) of Grand Rapids, MN; her brother Mark Jeffery of Florida; and her sister-in-law Beverly Jeffery of Wadena, MN. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1111 S 8th Ave W, Virginia, MN 55792). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to the charity of the donor's choice.
