He was predeceased by: his parents, David Wagner and Helen Wagner (Saeger); and his siblings, Diane Mathison-Johnson, Kathy Wagner-Iverson, Pam Wagner, Jerry Mathison, Monte Mathison and Donald Wagner.

He is survived by: his wife Kristine of Hibbing; his sons, Brooks and Christopher; and his sister Beverly (Donald) of Center City. He is also survived by several grandchildren; one great grandchild; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
