He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Halunen and Violet Halunen (Nakari); and his brother Hartley Halunen. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Jacobson of Eveleth; his children, Dawn Johnson (Michael), Robert Halunen of Virginia, MN and Clayton Halunen (David Duddingston) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Drew Halunen, Dane Halunen, Cameron Johnson and Ellis Johnson; and his siblings, Pat Willis, Gayle Moorhead, Rodney Halunen and Danial Nakari. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
