He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Padgett and Sarah Padgett (Hovin); his children, Liz Stevens of Lake Vermilion, Paul Padgett (Karen) of Cloquet and Ruth Boedigheimer (Kevin) of Cloquet; his grandchildren, Zebulon Stevens, Sarah Knudson (Keith), Hannah Haugen (Bjørn-Áge), Jory Taft, Natalia Padgett, Leah Boedigheimer and Isaac Boedigheimer; his siblings, Charlotte Haavisto of Virginia and Gayle Joki (Dave) of Mountain Iron; his former wife Edna Padgett; his siblings, Jean Haskin, Robert Padgett and Floyd Padgett; and his sons-in-law, Mike Kortie and Robert Stevens. He was also cherished by 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
